Language of the Congress
The official language of the ORL 2022 is Czech and English.
Exhibition
The entry to exhibition is included in the registration fee.
Refreshment
Tea, coffee and small refreshment will be served during Coffee Breaks. The refreshment is included in the registration fee.
Program Changes
The organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the program due to external or unforeseen circumstances.
Name badges
Participants are obliged to wear their badge throughout the whole Congress duration, which they will receive when registering. In case of losing one’s badge, the creation of new one will be charged 500 CZK.
AC Power Plugs and Sockets
The Czech Republic uses a 220-volt 50Hz system, sockets have the European standard and plugs are three-prong grounded.
Cell Phones
Participants are kindly requested to turn off or switch their cell phones to silent mode in the meeting rooms where scientific sessions are held.
Currency
Czech crown (CZK) is the official currency of the Czech Republic. Exchange of foreign currency is available at Prague international Airport and most hotels, banks and exchange offices throughout the city. International credit cards are accepted for payments in hotels, restaurants and shops. Payment in cash in EUR is also available in some restaurants and shops. Please ask for more details on-site. Czech Language
Even though at the majority of the hotels, shops and restaurants in Brno are English spoken, we include a few basic Czech words and sentences that can be useful during your stay in Brno:

Entry Formalities
For EU nationals it is enough to hold a passport or national ID card valid for the duration of stay. Visitors from non-EU countries must possess a passport valid for at least three months longer than the planned date of departure from the Czech Republic. Participants requiring a visa should apply in advance to consular offices of the Czech Republic or diplomatic missions in their countries in order to avoid delay in travel to the Meeting.

Insurance
The organizers can accept no liability for personal injuries or loss or damage to property belonging to the participants, either during or as a result of the event. Participants are advised to take out proper travel and health insurance before departing from their home country.
No-smoking
Smoking in the ORL 2022 area is not allowed.
Shopping
Most shops in Brno are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday till Friday, on Saturday they have usually adjusted opening hours. Shopping centres are open Monday till Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Time Zone
The Czech Republic is on Central European Time - Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) plus 1 hour. From April to October is summer time, i.e. GMT + 2 hours.
Tipping
Service is usually included in the bill in bars and restaurants but tips are welcome. If you consider the service good enough to warrant a tip, we suggest about ten percent.
